This document has been created to help you find the best person possible to help you in your present situation. Make sure to use this in any situation you’re unsure about. A lot of people tend to run to a Founder in time of need. Although Founders are more than capable of helping your needs, we can’t help everyone at once. Please remember that HDA is full of helpful iC members who can help you the same way a Founder can.

When in BoD the first person you should be speaking to about anything to do with your division is the members who run Chief-BoD. Please don’t message Foundation about simple things to do with your division, as at the end of the day it’s the members who run Chief-BoD that needs to approve before we are informed of any changes needed.

Personal Assistant
What is a personal Assistant? Personal assistant’s are available to all BoD+ members, to help assist them with their HDA Duties and can also create their own duties for their selected Personal Assistant. Personal Assistants are allowed to wear the Personal Assistant’s badge, they also are to wear their motto as the following e.g: [HDA] their current rank [tag] your name’s PA.
Requirements when selecting a personal Assistant:
Personal Assistant Pay system:
As they are still required to fulfill basic duties to gain promotions, personal assistants can collect from pay lines and bonus pay. However you are expected to pay them extra for doing extra duties.
Personal Assistant Promotions:
Personal Assistants continue to rank up normally whilst being your Personal assistant on the side. Personal Assistant’s may stay your PA for as long as you both are happy with working together. Please make sure they are an active member
How to correctly acquire a Personal Assistant:
As having a personal assistant is now limited to 2ic+ you no longer need to seek permission from a specific member to acquire one. However please note in their promotion log that you have made them your assistant, and log if they for whatever reason are no longer your personal assistant. Please remember you are responsible for you personal assistant and their actions reflect back on you.

General Approvals
- Who can approve pay badge requests? FA members, members on pay badge admin, 4iC+
- Who can give approval to add someone to discord chats? Presidential+
- Who approves LOA requests? Ownership+
- Who can approve members onto Alt badge? Alt Spreadsheet Task Members
- Who can approve a member into a special division? Directors and Heads
- Who can approve the removal of SV badge? Presidential+
- Who can sell ranks? Only HDA official rank sellers
Pay Questions:
- If you’re wondering if you’re placed on pay ban, you can check by simply going to http://tiny.cc/hdapb
- I don’t think I should be on pay ban? If you find you’re on pay ban and think it’s inaccurate, please notify the help desk! You will need proof.
- I’m on pay ban but I don’t know why? You can ask anyone at the help desk or any member of the Financial Affairs team.
- What time is pay in my country? This information is already located on the main website here, but you may ask any member at the help desk, Financial Affairs, 4iC+ members for this information.
- How does the pay system work? You may ask anyone at the help desk about this, Financial Affairs, 4iC+ members. You can also ask general members in base but the best option would be to head to the help desk before seeking out randoms in base!
- I missed pay? Ultimately if you missed pay you just have to aim for next pay time. However you were stuck in a training and missed pay, please go to the help desk ASAP! If the help desk isn’t as “helpful”, ask them to find the person that did the pay that you missed, or to contact another HDA official payer.
- Collecting with bonus pay badge? You can collect anytime on Sunday until 4th Pay from a Rank Seller.
- General pay questions: GO TO THE HELP DESK!! DON’T SEEK A FOUNDER
- DO NOT WHISPER THE PERSON WHO IS CONDUCTING THE PAY LINE AT PAY TIMES
- Who can I get approval from to leave early after pay? You may get approval from the pay distributor. Just make sure you actually inform the pay distributor before leaving or else it will result in being pay banned for a full 24 hours.
- I’m unable to contact the pay distributor, what now? If you are unable to contact an iC member in base. If you are OP+ you may message them on discord notifying why you are leaving before pay ban is over. However, do not go about spamming them.
Firing/Warning/Demotion Questions:
- Who can I Fire/Warn/Demote? This question can be answered by simply reading the code of conduct on the main web. However please go to the help desk for this question. Don’t seek out Founders for this question as most people can answer it for you.
- Someone is making an agency that works here what do I do? If you have evidence and know they are building an agency while working at HDA and if you’re a high enough rank to fire the individual, create the fired log and look for a badge admin to remove the badges for you. If they are a higher rank than you, please go to the best suited IA member with the evidence. If the member creating another agency is 4iC+ Please contact a Presidential+ member, you don’t necessarily need a Founder for this.
- Unsure about a situation regarding firing/warnings/demotions in general? Please go to the help desk straight away/ask an IA member or any 4iC+ member. You don’t need a Founder for this as anyone can help.
- Have a complaint? Look for an IA member specifically for this, if this is a situation out of their power, still make the complaint to this link: https://tiny.cc/hdacomplaints
- A lot of the time people go straight to a Founder with a complaint! It’s not that Foundation doesn't care about your feelings or your situation, sometimes we don’t have the required time to look into your situation and help. So to ensure you’re all provided with the best help please contact an IA member asap, Anyone who is 2iC+ or Director/Head/Chief of IA.
Badges:
- Need a badge accepted? If you are OP+ and you are a part of our official discord, you may request a badge in the ‘request’ channel by using the @BA tag, listing the badge that needs accepting and the individual who needs the badge. If you are not OP+, then you can ask someone at our help desk to request the badge for you.
- Need someone's badges removed? Contact any BA or make a request on our discord server!
- There is no BA online right now how can I train? Make a request in our discord server for the badge to be accepted, until then train your person in the recruit training rooms.
- What badges can my alt get? All OP+ HDA members can have the alt badge on their alts, please apply on the forums for your alt to get an alt badge! You can only have ADV, SEC, TRAINING, and OP badges on your alt when your main is banned for more than a day. When your ban on your main account is removed, please remove all the HDA badges (not including the Alt Badge) from your alt.
- Any other questions regarding badges? Help desk is your place to go!
Special divisions:
- Wanting to join a specific division? Founders don’t control who joins special divisions. To join a division speak to the Director/Head about joining it, or go to the help desk to ask for the link to apply for the division. If you can’t find any of those people please look for a 4iC+ member if they can help out, If not just be patient.
- Has my application been accepted yet? The only person that can answer this question is the Director/Head of the division you’re applying for. No one else has access to this information.
- What am I meant to do in this division? The best person to ask this question to is the Director/Head of the division. If you’re not around try messaging them on the forums or ask a 2ic+ member.
- I applied last week how long do I need to wait? As long as it takes for the respective divisions' Directors. Please don’t spam asking the leaders of the division every day as that can cause you to be rejected from the division.
Transfers:
- Requesting a Founder to transfer them: In a lot of cases people visiting the transfer desk will request for a Founder to assist them. In most cases they only are requesting a Founder as they think it will get them a higher rank. Founders don’t offer outside of transfer guidelines, so anything you offer we will offer the same. Best thing to do is to explain that to them, if they are still requesting a Founder, tell them that they will have the same offer and if they wish to wait however long for a Founder they can, but they will be offered the same thing and wasting their own time.
- This agency isn’t on the transfer conversion table, now what? If you find that an agency is not added on the Transfer Conversion table please contact the Director of Transfers ASAP, as they are the only one with access to the table.
Reports:
- Where do I send my reports to when I’m in a special division? If you’re in Events, External Affairs, Internal Affairs etc, please send any reports to the Director of that division. If the Director isn’t around please send it to the Head or Chief of the division.
- Reports for iC’s? If you’re in BoD please send your monthly reports to one of the members to run Chief-BoD. If you’re in Presidential please send to the Head Rank in Presidential and same for Ownership.
- I don’t understand what I need to do for my report? Ask the highest ranking member of your division for help on your reports. For example if you’re in EA, talk to your Director. You can alternatively ask Heads or other 4iC+ members but they may not be able to help as much as the person running the division.
- I can’t submit my report on time, HELP!! Please notify the highest ranking member in your division or you will receive a strike, that will eventually result in demotions/removal from divisions.
General Questions:
- I have an idea: The most efficient way to get your idea heard is to go to #suggestions channel on Discord or the suggestions board on forums under General Discussion. It is monitored by the Suggestions Monitoring team.
- A member has made several incorrect logs on the forums: There are a few things that need to be done in this situation. 1) Ensure the person logging incorrectly is aware of their mistakes, if you can’t find the person yourself let IA know, notify the help desk or let any 4iC+ member know. 2) You can report the log on the forums and any of our admins will be notified to remove it when they login to their forums, or contact a pres/owner straight away as it’s their specific task to monitor the forums.
- There is a mistake on the website: Contact any Ownership+ member in regards to a mistake on the website. If there isn’t any available at the time, make a post on the suggestions board on the forums. Or you can use the request chat in the HDA discord to notify what needs fixing and use the @web admin tag
- General complaint: tiny.cc/hdacomplaints
- There is a troll in base: If you’re in our Official Discord Server then please make a request in the request channel with ‘@RR’ and listing the situation at hand. Someone should come online soon after to deal with the problem.
- Someone is refusing to follow the rules: Use warnings/demotions and firings in these situations. If by the time you reach the firing stages and nothing has been resolved, contact an available RR.
- Security is broken: Majority of the time it’s just a minor glitch, but for whatever reason there is an issue, please contact RR and if there isn’t any online, make a request for an RR in our discord server.
- General issue with Base/other HDA rooms being broken: Please contact RR if there aren’t any online, make a request for an RR in our discord server.
- Pay badge requests aren’t being accepted: If it's been a large amount of time, pay requests are adding up and no one is accepting them, notify the help desk straight away. The help desk then will either solve the issue themselves or find the correct person to help.
- I think a script needs updating: If you find that a script has outdated information, please look for the Director/Head/Chief of that division and speak to them about the issue. For example the training script is incorrect, please go to the Director/Head and speak about it, if you’re not sure who they are you can find their name on the rank list. If you can never seem to be online at the same time as them, speak to any member who run Chief-BoD about the error.
- Banned account wanting to move to your alternative account? This is another common situation people think they need a Founder for! Any 4iC+ member can assist in this situation. First thing you need to do is have the person prove that it’s them. First ask the account to message you on their forum account in private message to prove its them. Once they have done that, notify a badge admin to accept badges, or make a badge request on our discord server. Sometimes if it’s a perm ban their promotion log name will need updating so please contact a presidential member to correct it asap!
- Needing alternative badge for your alt account: Please look for any Alt Spreadsheet Task members to have your alt badge accepted.
- What other badges do alts get? If your main isn’t banned, your alt may have the main badge and alt badge. If your main account is banned for a short amount of time you can have Security, Training and alt badge. If you’re permanently banned, your alt is your new main.
- LOA Approval: When requesting LOA, make a request on the forums and a member in ownership will approve/decline your request. If your request hasn’t been checked in a day or so please contact an owner before attempting to contact a Founder for this issue.
- Who should I seek approval from in regards to general things? It’s a bit hard to list everything here in one go, but for the majority of things needing approval you can seek approval from any 2iC+ member.

- Wanting to update the script for my division: Create the edited script and send it to the members who run Chief-BoD. If they approve of the script they will inform us and ownership will update the website.
- Suggestions for Head/chiefs: Best place to get suggestions for new Chiefs/Heads is the BoD discord chats, Bod+ meeting or you can message any BoD+ for a suggestion. When you have finally made a choice on a worker for Head or Chief, seek permission from the Head Director and if they give it the ok, you may promote them. Once promoted make sure to notify an Ownership+ member so the rank list can be updated.
- Demoting Head/Chiefs: If you think your chief or head is under performing and it’s time to consider a demotion, please speak with any member who run Chief-BoD about the situation. Please remember to implement warnings etc before considering demotions.
- Wanting to make changes in your division: Notify the members who run Chief-BoD of the changes you wish to make, or present them at the BoD+ meeting. Once you’ve been approved, make sure to advertise these changes so everyone is aware. For example FA wanting to change badge requirements, once approved you would need to make sure everyone was aware.
- I’m not getting along with my Head/Chief: Speak with the members who run Chief-BoD about a possible solution.
- I want to host an event: Please speak to the members who run Chief-BoD about this, and they will either approve or decline it.

Promotion Lines:
- Who can host random promotion lines? BoD+ can host them without permission, Chiefs/Heads may host them as long as they receive permission from a BoD+
- What ranks can line up for random promos/pay time promos: Any rank below ADMIN can receive a promo, any rank ADMIN and higher cannot. That includes not promoting into the first admin rank for it.
- I'm hosting a random promo line, what should I do? When you host a random promo line, you are now expected to log it under here.
- General Random Promo Line Rules: There is a maximum of 3 promo lines allowed to be hosted per week, with a maximum of 1 per person (an exception is if you're granted Founder's permission). To avoid having too many hosted in one day, promo lines must have a minimum of 10 hours between each other and must not be hosted within 2 hours before/after pay. You can check the random promo line logs on the forums to make sure how long ago the last one was hosted and if the maximum of 3 has been fulfilled.
