Internal Affairs Duties
As an IA member you have many important duties you need to focus on, each has a different purpose in HDA.
- The first duty: is to make sure you can help every member within HDA. No matter what rank they are. We make sure that everyone is welcome throughout their time within HDA. We help members at the help desk with their work related questions as well as we help members off the help desk with other questions. The help desk is one of the most important things we do in Internal Affairs. We make sure that when members need help via the help desk we are there quickly and efficiently.
- The second duty: is to take care of the problems happening in HDA. Try to solve arguments and make sure everyone is following the rules at all times. Make sure that when solving arguments that you hear both sides of the story as well as gather the relevant evidence which is needed. It is also important to come to a fair decision. Remember not to jump to giving out discipline actions!
- The third duty: take care of your relationship with each member. And keep everyone updated on news and events that take place in HDA. Help them feel comfortable in the working environment and show them that HDA isn’t all about work.
