You’ve probably heard of Thanksgiving - but do you know what it truly is/what people do for it? Thanksgiving is a holiday in the US that is celebrated on the 4th November of each year.
The notion of Thanksgiving was based upon setting apart some time to just being thankful and blessing for what you had around you - whether that be family, friends, or just great things like being able to eat good food! The idea of setting time for blessings, and holding feasts for harvests were already in practice for the European settlers who settled in an older United States. It is believed to have started as early as 1607 (though this is debated). However, it did not become an official holiday until 1863 by Abraham Lincoln during Civil War times. It has changed a lot since then to become the holiday that it is now, but is still a core holiday for families to gather around the dinner table.
Now that we’ve gone over the basics, let’s get to some interesting facts (based on 2017)!
The turkey is the main star of the dinner table for Thanksgiving, but foods such as mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, corn, pumpkin pie, etc. are also very common to the holiday! Green bean casserole wasn’t actually introduced until 1955 and has since become a favorite for many families.
Approximately 45 million turkeys were killed for Thanksgiving 
50+ million travel for Thanksgiving (~54.3 estimated for 2018) more than 50 miles away 
Typical Americans will consume an average of 4,500 cals on Thanksgiving 
Largest pumpkin pie ever made came in at 3,669 pounds!
Heaviest turkey ever weighed was thought to be Tyson at 86 pounds, who was later auctioned off for over 6.5K!
Those are just a few of the many cool aspects about Thanksgiving - and the day of festivities doesn’t end there as the all popular shopping day, Black Friday happens the day after! However, that’s another topic with its own amount of interesting facts!

What did you expect when you came into HDA?
I don't really have that much expectation when I first came to HDA because it was my first time joining an agency and I am kinda new to habbo that time. Going through the ranks how do you feel now at the rank your are at? In my 7 months here in HDA, I feel that every hour that I spent playing habbo and working in HDA is all worth it. Now that I am an Assisstant Director I am happy that I made it this far and I will be working really hard to show the higher ranks that I deserved this rank and they are not wrong that they promoted me in this rank. What makes you come online to work in HDA? The thing that makes me come online everyday is the people in HDA. In my journey here in HDA, I've met a lot of people for the past 7 months and some of them are now my friends. I also enjoys the feeling of helping the people in HDA. Working in HDA has become a part of my life this year. I also come online everyday to collect pay because as you have seen me in base, you can see me dressing up, playing with my looks and buying rares. The next question is where you tell us a small story about something that is important to you that happen in HDA. (It can be a promotion meeting someone or even dating someone it's all up to you to what you put here) The thing that happened in HDA that is important to me is when it was announced that my report is one of the reports that stand out in the month of October. I feel like it is important because I worked hard in base and I always give my best in doing reports and scripts although I am a college student and I have to manage my time in doing HDA duties and school works. It is important to me because I felt that they appreciate my efforts in doing my reports. Tell me about a time you faced a conflict while working as part of a team. When I was the Head of Training, our Director GuestGM decided to leave his rank as a Director. We felt really sad that time because me and aleesha are the only ones who are left in the Training Leadership and we don't really have that much knowledge about the things we should do because we just got promoted that time. It is really hard adjusting with the new requirements and doing duties because like me, aleesha is also a student and after working as a team, we managed to adjust with all the things needed in training division. What are your strengths and weakness? I see myself as higher rank because as of today, I am doing my best in doing all the duties that a Assistant Director have. And my weakness is i feel bad if i didn't finish the work to the given time. Where do you see yourself in the year of 2018 at HDA? I see myself as higher rank because as of today, I am doing my best in doing all the duties that a Assistant Director have. If you had to give a shout out to one member that you have known since you been here at HDA who would it be and why If I had to give a shoutout to one member that I have known since I have been here at HDA, it would be chcknnggts since day 1. What is one of the most useful things that you have learned from HDA? No man is an island, you can't pass or stay in HDA without the help, support and motivate from friends or people arounds you.

Going through the ranks how do you feel now at the rank you are at?
I'm really happy that I've reached this far all the way from being a Recruit. Thanks to all the people who believed in me. Now that I’m a Junior Elite Command, I’ll make sure that I will continue to work harder than before. What makes you come online to work in HDA? My friends. They are the reason why I stay here. Without them, I don’t know if I can still play this game. They made me realize that making friends on the internet isn’t that bad after all. Tell us a small story about something that is important to you that happen in HDA. I think my promotion to HoADV. I didn’t really expect that I will get promoted that time. I was really shocked and confused at the same time. I don’t know how would I react. It was so overwhelming. Tell me about a time you faced a conflict while working as part of a team. Just a little misunderstanding but we have resolved it immediately. What are your strengths and weakness? My strength is probably being active in my habbo life. My weakness would be the fact that I sometimes choose Habbo rather than my to do real life stuff. My weakness also include that I’m a bit childish. I can also be bratty and sassy sometimes, too. Where do you see yourself in the year of 2019 at HDA? I don’t really know for now. But I really hope that I can continue working in HDA that time. 'Going through the ranks how do you feel now at the rank you are at?
I feel a lot busier now! At this point in time I feel like I've learnt a lot and gained a lot of new friendships and colleagues as I worked my way up to this point. I'm really happy with my rank and I really enjoy the tasks that come with DoEA and Emzywah’s Rep. Couldn't ask for more. What makes you come online to work in HDA? If i was asked this question back before I reached 5iC my answer would have been "so I can rank up" but at this point in time it's so much more. HDA has become a part of my routine and I'm not good at breaking routine! I haven't been here for long but it sure feels like it, I love the familiarity of being able to come online everyday and talk to the same wonderful people and it'd be hard to break that routine now. Tell us a small story about something that is important to you that happen in HDA. Something important... I have a terrible memory so I'm struggling to pull up an exact moment but I think the most important memories for me are all the little compliments and congratulations I've gotten from higher ranks over the time. I don't think I'd be at this point without all the help and support I've gotten from other members. It made me so giddy when HRs told me I had "potential" and many other things. Maybe I'm just an approval seeker but without little things like that I don't think I would've tried as hard. That's what's been important for me. Tell me about a time you faced a conflict while working as part of a team. In honesty????? I haven't had a single conflict between another member nor have I been involved in one. Unless my memory is fading again (likely) I remember nothing. The team work here is never subpar. What are your strengths and weakness? My strengths have always been something hard for me to identify, and I think most people face the same problem. But I think???? maybe??? That I'm reliable and diligent? Perhaps? And my biggest weakness by far is my lack of self discipline and motivation at times (most times) Where do you see yourself in the year of 2019 at HDA? I see myself still spending majority of my time in FTB and hopefully just as active, but I don't think that'll be much of a feat. I want to become a member that lower ranks seek for guidance and an absolute cool kid legend. I guess only the future can tell ;) If you had to give a shout out to one member that you have known since you been here at HDA who it would be and why? Oh Kaiser (-Temporarily) for sure. He's the reason I'm here as a represetative today. Couldn't of done it without him, he's always been there for me to answer questions and give me advice, and continues to do so. Thanks Kaiser ^-^ <3 What is one of the most useful things that you have learned from HDA? I have learnt that despite anything going on in my everyday life, that there are people here who support me and will always be there. Strong friendships are hard to come by but at HDA location, appearance and age (among other things) don't affect them! I can always trust the people here to be judgemental only in the best of ways. To Ms. Ruby/Guccifies you're a gift to those around you! I'm grateful to know you. You should be proud of yourself for reaching that rank. Always remember you're really something special. I was expecting to meet new friends, and to be able to help and socialize to everyone Going through the ranks how do you feel now at the rank your are at? At first it was really hard since I need to surpass all those ranks until when I reached management I saw the Trial IA applications, I wanted to join since my purpose here in HDA is to help my Fellow Members, so I tried to join. I was surprised I was able to pass Trial IA and It was fun being at IA, helping at the help desk and etc. A few days ago there was a 4ic Trials on going so I also tried it, I passed the applications and while doing the tasks it was Challenging because I need to balance my academics and duties in HDa, It was fun and I'm now a Trial Chief What makes you come online to work in HDA? The reason why I come online to work in HDA because I want to help HDA in its development in the future, through simple ways. Also because of my Friends. Give us something interesting here The next question is where you tell us a small story about something that is important to you that happen in HDA. (It can be a promotion meeting someone or even dating someone it's all up to you to what you put here) One story that happened to me is that when people we're promoting me and I don't really know their gender so sometimes I just assume so sometimes I feel like I'm such a bad person XD. Tell me about a time you faced a conflict while working as part of a team. One time that I faced a conflict as part of a team is when I was in IA, someone came to us to complain about this person so me and my team helped each other to investigate in it, after that we found evidences which can prove that the complaint is proven. And in solving that problem with my team I felt satisfied because I was able to help someone. What are your strengths and weakness? My strengths are I really want to do reports and edit stuff, I also love to draw and I love Math. While my Weaknesses are being able to be online for everyday, It's Hard for me since half of my day is I spend it to school and sometimes I'm very tired so I sometimes doesn't come online in habbo. Where do you see yourself in the year of 2018 at HDA? I see myself that I have improved than the past days. My duties in HDA has teached me life skill lessons that I will be using in the future. If you had to give a shout out to one member that you have known since you been here at HDA who would it be and why? I'll give a shout out to LerianRo since I went to HDA I saw her dedication in HDA in helping every member, since I was still an Agent she was very approachable and helpful. I adore her dedication What is one of the most useful things that you have learned from HDA? Being Responsible, Time Management and Making Reports, since I need those things in the Future Congrats, you made it to Sunday, now you have five long days of work/school/whatever ahead of you before you get to the weekend again. But don't fret, at least we have confessions!!! confess ur sins it's good for the soul.  I think I have been here long enough and heard a lot of stories to confirm that it's true. I even told my mum about her because I’m so scared she’s going to come after me in my sleep for promoting too soon - mummy’s boy I let Toni take the blame for my mistake because I’m a weak cow - sorry toni When I was an Advertiser I would sometimes “sleep” with different people on Habbo or say I would, just so I could get a recruit. I still do it sometimes 👀 - forget pizza guy, i’m the advertising guy ;) There's someone in ic who's been working for another agency this entire time. It's not painfully obvious, but the signs are there. Here's a hint if you might be in their circle: be wary of who they talk to, in and outside the base ;) - neighbourhood watch I have a crush someone on base and I don't know how to approach him cause we have been friends for a long time now. Some of them might even be overwhelming for those who have only been with us a short time, returned back to us after a long time, etc. Therefore, this post is designed to introduce all of the great new changes that have taken place in HDA over the past month now that November is officially beginning.
