At one point in our lives HDA had over 1000 twitter followers, it was a really magical time, and now, HDA has 0. Z E R O, zip, zilch etc etc. thanks to she who shall not be named. So I'm putting together a guide on how to gain twitter followers the easy way, so HDA can gain their followers back quickly and easily, but we can't do it without your help! This is how YOU can help HDA Twitter get their followers back:

• DONATE! We often do giveaways on our twitter page inviting people to RT + Follow to win, if you can donate any prize/s to HDA Founders so they can hold competitions to gain more followers, that would be a great help!
• ​Hold Competitions on your twitter account! If you don't want to give us prizes to give away on our account, do it on your account, ask people to retweet and follow you and @HDA_Habbo!
• Make a Twitter account! Or Ten! Look, at this point we are desperate and we need to get that follower count back up, if you don't already have a twitter account, make one, it has great memes. If you already have one, dig out your old hotmail email and sign up for twitter using that one as well!
• Share on other social media. Got a following on snapchat, facebook, instagram or something else that IDK about yet? Ask people to follow @HDA_Habbo!
• Message your friend list on Habbo. Ask your habbo friends to follow @HDA_Habbo on Twitter, they will really enjoy the giveaways, pictures and if the last few days are anything to go by, the major tea that is spilt on there.

The Events team are a group of people who love to ensure a fun experience for all members of HDA by hosting fun games. The current members of Events Leadership are @HabMicki the Chief, scarynerdy the Head, and Brandoen the Director.

What is Events?
The Events team is in-charge of hosting events for the people of HDA. They host a wide variety of events from fridge game to STAB to bank game and more! Plus, they host events for inter-agency interaction. If you want to ensure a fun time at HDA, join the Events team!

So being a member of HDA can be tough, sometimes you gotta deal with some serious crap. This new series takes the crap and pulls it out into the open. Often get shitty people sliding into your DMs? Got people who were fired yelling at you even though you were in Bora Bora working on your tan and have no idea what the fuck is going on? Or maybe you were minding your own business then some creepy security officer takes it upon themselves to send you a dick pic. Whatever the scenario may be we have all been there and now we can share with the world what really goes on in our DMs. 

​This new series will take screenshots of the worst DMs we have ever received, censored to protect privacy of course, but shed a light on humanities litter box. This week we take a peek into Emma's inbox, and go where no man or woman should ever have to go, her DMs.

The External Affairs are a group of people who deal with HDA’s relationships with other agencies. The current EA Leadership is HumanRevolution as the Director and Elric17168 as the Head.

What is EA?
With External Affairs, members gain experience in problem-solving, networking, and management. Plus, you can make new friends around Habbo. The team deals with maintaining our alliances and interactions with other agencies!

How to apply?
​Applications are opened by EA Leadership and are announced on the Discord and in base. If you are are Management and above and have worked at HDA for 2 weeks then you should apply!

What did you learn about EA after joining the team?

What is IA?
The Internal Affairs is the human resource department of HDA. Often members of IA are seen working at the help desk and answering any questions members have. However, there is more to IA than that! The team deals with complaints and review any firings, demotions, and warnings.

How to apply?
Applications are open when the IA Leadership team decide to open them. The applications are usually open for a week and are announced on Discord and in base. If you are Management and above make sure you apply!

What does IA Leadership want you to know about the team?
“I would like people to know that IA is here to help anyone with any HDA related issue they have. No matter their rank or the severity of the issue IA is always here to help.” - alfh2, Director of IA
“IA is not all about being there when there is trouble, but someone you can talk to openly when you are in doubt. IA should not be feared but instead be looked upon as a role model at base. What did you learn about IA after joining the team?
“I learned that IA isn’t just about filling the help desk, there’s so much more to IA that goes on behind the scenes that most HDA members don’t see.” - alfh2

“I have learned a lot since joining the IA Team like knowing the code of conduct more, learning how to do OTP's, checking how to do them correctly, helping more people on the Help Desk and dealing with important situations which happened in base. To celebrate our ally USDF’s 4th birthday, me and a couple other HDA members decided to take a trip to visit our beloved ally and I interviewed some members about their time at USDF. These were the results.

The Interview!

Q: How long ago did you join USDF?
A: Well I joined on the 14th of September last year!


Q: I take it you love USDF since you have been here so long?
A: Well yes indeed! I have done a lot during my time. I still have a lot to achieve though.


Q: Could you tell me a bit about yourself and what you've achieved since joining?
A: Haha well I am XWO5 DrLino, SISO. I am apart of the Office of International Security Affairs. I’ve been apart of that office for 4 months! In my time I have achieved quite a lot. Getting the the CWO ranks, teaching many of the new OISA members, taking part in my branch council, along with working closely with all of our allies!

Q: How has USDF been recently, with its 4 year anniversary approaching, has there been many events etc?
A: We did have a ceremony late last year! We gave personnel medals, positions, and promotions alike! We also had a game day in which our OPA office hosted games in the HQ every hour!


Q: Do USDF have anything else planned to celebrate the occasion?
A: I don’t believe so. :)


Q: What's your favourite memory since joining USDF?
A: Oooo that is quite a difficult question to answer! Probably the day I was promoted to CWO2. It was such a gratifying experience being promoted into the CWO ranks. But tbh I am not sure which moment has been my favourite.


Q: Where do you see yourself in USDF for their 5th anniversary next year?
A: Either resigned from being too busy, or maybe as a officer. Who knows aha.

Going through the ranks how do you feel now at the rank you are at?
Answer:
This is my 2nd time as Emma’s Representative, so I learned how to work with her and I really like it, I love that I can help her around.


What makes you come online to work in HDA?
Answer:
Friends, mostly, but also the getaway from real life, it’s a safe haven that I don’t have to worry about real life stuff.


Tell us a small story about something that is important to you that happen in HDA.
Answer:
The first time I got promoted to chief of a Division, back in 2016. I got promoted to Chief of Innovations, working with Ben (braveheart10) and also later on with Carol (KatyHudson,). Fun fact is that Carol and I are still friends to this day, even though she doesn’t play habbo anymore.


Tell me about a time you faced a conflict while working as part of a team.
Answer:
I’m not sure about conflict, but something bad was when I tried to bring the Innovations Team back, but it didn’t work out.


What are your strengths and weakness?
Answer:
I’m very good at dealing with problems and dealing with changes, I’m also very creative and rational, which makes me see points of view most people ignore. On the other hand, I’m not very good on being a leader and I can’t hide what I’m feeling.


Where do you see yourself in the year of 2019 at HDA?
Answer:
I hope I can continue working with Emma for a long time.


If you had to give a shout out to one member that you have known since you been here at HDA who it would be and why?
Answer:
Toni0390, we go way back and we have been friends for all this time.


What is one of the most useful things that you have learned from HDA?
Answer:
Discipline and team working.
