The beta is still going strong
Basically there have been more and more updates to the beta, you can read the latest here. But the updates include:
Vaults are still a thing, even though it has recieved the most negative feedback from the community. Vaults will work like this:
User joins Habbo
User can complete quests and other things to get credits, this goes in their Vault
Users can also be donated credits, this also goes in their Vault
To unlock your Vault you have to pay (eg. buy credits or builders club or HC) an undisclosed amount to Habbo to then unlock your Vault.
Once you have paid X amount of dollars, your vault is unlocked forever on your account.
it is unclear if you have ever bought credits with Habbo BEFORE Habbo2020 if your vault will already be unlocked.
If you choose not to pay to have your vault unlocked, you can have up to 500 credits in your hand/inventory etc. but once you go over that 500 limit then your 501st credit will be moved to the vault
You can take coins out of your vault but it will be HEAVILY taxed (so you won't recieve the full amount) without paying irl money.
Credits gained from donations and habbo quests will always go to your vault.
Basically the vault is always unlocked to you, and you can take credits out of it if you choose, but it will be taxed MASSIVELY and probably won't be worth it.
