The Financial Affairs team suggests a lot by what it means. This team consists of members responsible for ensuring that pay takes place during all four times of the day in a proper manner. Financial Affairs holds a lot of responsibilities, which includes taking part in assisting the payers in HDA, they are also responsible for logging online time points for our members which may sound familiar to some of you to another division who does the same. Financial Affairs are also responsible for assisting our Junior Executive (Standards - Trainers/Security) to be able to help get them their pay badges. You get access to the channel below on our HDA Discord Server, when you are a member of FA.
With FA membership, comes a weekly report with tasks to meet, which is neither difficult nor easy. Tasks include things such as mass logging or logging online time points, helping out in pay about two times a week and more. Online Time Point Logs is where we log other people’s OTP. You should check this out to learn better on how to log online time points.
For those who do not know what mass logging is, mass logging refers to logging of online time points for everyone in base every 2 hours. FA members who have Habbo Club membership are able to mass log since they have the ability to use the command :chooser , by which they can observe who is in base and can log them accordingly. Pay help consists of three guaranteed ways at the beginning which include noting down people who take pay, people who take promo and promoting people on promotion line.
However, within FA, promotion lines are only available to the 5iC+ members. You must help in pay twice a week and log the online time points of two people or mass log. This is also checked by the FA Leadership at the end of the week. For incomplete reports and no reason being provided for the same, they would receive strikes from the FA Leadership. Within FA, this is also a stepping stone to a more trusted responsibility which you may be awarded, which is known as Pay Badge Admin [PBA]
Meet your Financial Affairs Leadership:
With PBA, you become responsible to accept at least 10 pay badge requests on both forums and on the ‘Daily Pay Badge’ on habbo. For any mistake in relation to PBA (Pay Badge Admin), FA Leadership is to provide a strike for the same. 3 strikes may result in the loss of PBA and the same goes for FA Members. We also expect ranks before the Presidential Division to help with pay at least twice weekly or fortnightly. 3 of such strikes may result in a pay ban for a week. Applications for FA open every month, so keep a watch on applications-and-quizzes on HDA’s official discord server!
Interview with the Director of Financial Affairs - Lunarie
BatandBall: As the Director of Financial Affairs, what do you feel is necessary for everyone in HDA to know about the Financial Affairs?
Lunarie: FA deals with the idea of pay, ensuring people get paid, helping pay and logging OTP so if you're interested, feel free to join when applications are open!! BatandBall: In the FA Applications, what do you and your leadership usually look for? Lunarie: Understanding towards logging OTP, how well you answer the questions and your activity in base. BatandBall: What do you feel is an important lesson that every FA member learns or should learn during their time in FA? Lunarie: I think that they gain more understanding about helping with pay and how it works and be involved with it, and how logging OTP / mass OTP works! BatandBall: What are some qualities which you like to see in your current FA Leadership or your ideal FA Leadership? Lunarie: Teamwork and Communication. BatandBall: What is your favourite part about being a member of the FA Leadership or being a member of FA in general? Lunarie: Being able to help others accept their pay badge, helping with pay. BatandBall: What would you say to any future FA Leadership? Lunarie: Have fun dealing with FA stuff!!
Interview with a Pay Badge Admin - chuuukook
BatandBall: When do you first remember reaching the position of Pay Badge Admin?
Chuuukook: From what I remember, I reached the position of PBA when I was Director of Training back in July 2019. BatandBall: How did you feel when you first got Pay Badge Admin? Chuuukook: I was very excited about it and was screaming about it. It was so unexpected and I felt so proud of it and continued working hard. I had mixed feelings at that moment and I was very happy about it. We got PBA because they trust us and that motivated me to work harder to be fully trusted. BatandBall: How important is having Pay Badge Admin to you? Chuuukook: As I mentioned above, you get PBA because they trust you. For me, having PBA is like a part of an opportunity for you to help them in pay, and accepting pay badge requests. From this opportunity, we can help them and source our help more into HDA. It might not seem like that, but if you look in detail, every single person that you accept their pay badge will get paid because of that pay badge. So, for me it's too important to be a PBA. BatandBall: Do you feel it is tough to manage Pay Badge Admin and accept pay badge requests? Chuuukook: Nope, I don't even feel any tough to manage PBA and accept those requests. It's a job that you get, it's more like exclusively. They won't give out PBA to anyone or to those people they won't trust. BatandBall: What is your advice to future Pay Badge Admin members? Chuuukook: My advice is to keep going and never ever give up! You won't know when you get it, you won't know that all of us actually noticed how hardworking and how you are in the base. Just keep going where you are now, and you will get what you want one day!
Interview with Financial Affairs Member - DarthQue
BatandBall: How long have you been in FA and how have you felt about the division?
DarthQue: I have been in FA for a month now (exactly today lol), when I applied I wasn't sure how I was going to find it, but it's a very fun division to be a part of, a lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes of each pay and I find it interesting, and I find it fun to help out during pay. BatandBall: What is it about FA that motivated you to apply for it? DarthQue: Well when I applied for FA, I didn't know much about it, and I was curious so I applied. I also thought that pay was one of the busiest times at HDA and I thought it would be rewarding to help out with it (I was right). BatandBall: How important do you feel you would consider FA to the HDA in your own words? DarthQue: I feel that FA is one of the most important divisions within HDA, a part of why a lot of people join HDA is because of the pay here. Without FA to organize those pays they would just become really chaotic. BatandBall: What qualities do you think are necessary for someone within the Financial Affairs Division DarthQue: I think that anyone could be FA, but an important quality that someone in FA needs is patience, we've all seen when the lines at pay have been extremely long, and it takes patience to get through all of those people BatandBall: What would you like to say to any future FA Members who may be reading this? DarthQue: Your first pay help is gonna be scary, but that's okay, it's one of those things that gets easier each time you do it Blog Written by BatandBall
